Vinesse hair and beauty
Is my second salon, after my first venture with my gorgeous friend Claire in bury st Edmunds.
The name you may ask is an amalgamation of my Grandad Vincent (Vin) and Nan Ethel (Esse) names, who were a very influential part of my life.
The salon has been vegan for nearly 6 of its 12 years! We are now in our 13th year, and are striving to become more ecological all the time.
I’m extremely passionate about animal welfare and also strive to run the salon as ethically as possible, having a minimal imprint on the planet.
I have worked in a salon environment from the age of 14 and qualified in 1998.
I enjoy creative cutting the most, and love building a rapport with my clients.
I’m lucky to have a lovely setting to work in with tranquil surroundings, where the wildlife thrive, and our clients can enjoy, but most of all I’m extremely fortunate to have the most amazing girls working along side me, whom without Vinesse would not be the relaxing, warm & welcoming salon that it has become.
For me I love to live life for experiences, out and about with my family and friends, but equally love snuggling up at home or relaxing in the garden.
Since having my daughter it has given me a new exciting insight into the world.
We are a family of four my husband Darren, daughter Mia 6, Womble my furry friend of 13 years and of course myself.

Beauty Therapist
I have been part of the team here at Vinesse since Amanda opened the salon in 2009. I enjoy all aspects of Beauty Therapy, but particularly nail and eyebrow treatments. Over my 25 year career I have gained experience and knowledge in a number of areas within the industry. I also keep myself updated by regularly attending courses in nails and skin care. With all of us leading increasingly stressful lives, I love to be able to offer a relaxing experience away from the hustle bustle of daily life. When I'm not working I love nothing more than spending precious time with my long term partner 2 beautiful sons.

Senior Creative Stylist/ Colour Specialist
I am the newest member of the team here at Vinesse. I have been a Hair Stylist since 2009 and in that time I have been lucky enough to train and work with some of the leading professionals in the industry at Sassoon, Aveda and now Oway. I enjoy creating looks for photo-shoots using art and fashion as inspiration. I love to design a bespoke cut and colour based around each individual, considering face shape, hair type, suitability and personality. I was drawn to Vinesse as I wished to combine my personal ethics with my passion for hair, as I feel that quality services shouldn't be a drain on our planet or harm the animals that we share it with. In my spare time I enjoy exploring new places and having adventures with my partner Giorgio, learning about the world and different cultures.  I also enjoy gardening for wildlife, hiking, painting, or reading a good book while having a cuddle with my cat, Kitty

Receptionist/ Beautician
I have been working in the beauty industry since I was 18. Two things that are most rewarding to me are making people look and feel good about themselves. I enjoy a good challenge whether it's great Brows or a relaxing Massage. The best compliment is someone else complimenting my work. I enjoy the opportunity to apply my experience, education, and love of this profession to give you an enjoyable and satisfying salon experience.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and two beautiful Little Girls going on fun adventures and exploring different places.

Is the main attraction, with 13 years loyal service!
In the early years, getting under our feet as a puppy whilst fitting out the salon, then meeting and greeting clients often carrying out routine bag searches!
Nowadays he likes to take a much more laid back role, snoozing in his bed behind the desk or sprawled out in front of the reception or front door.
he does have his moments when he springs into action, asking the postman to buzz off! Or certain clients (who wont be named and shamed) brings in contraband treats and when his beloved physio Katie Peak Performance comes in to give him his weekly physio, this is where you will see him in a comatose state enjoying his pamper session.
He is well loved by all <3
